The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
