All that is on the earth is doomed to perish, 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)! 29 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O you who live in close communion with [evil] invisible beings and humans! If you [think that you] can pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them! [But] you cannot pass beyond them, save by a sanction [from God]! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass shall be sent against both of you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 38 On that Day, neither human nor jinn shall be asked about his sin. 39 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 40 The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 This is Hell the sinners called a lie. 43 They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. 44 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 45
