NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 a warning to mortal man 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the criminals, 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
