He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 And ease for me my task 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 that they may understand my words. 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 Said [Pharaoh]: "And what of all the past generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
