Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
