Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
