Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
