The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
