In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 and the severally severing 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known calculated term. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
