VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
