The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
