And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
