Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
