The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and that which comes in the night -- 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 It is the star shining brightly. 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 he was created of gushing water 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 and [man] will have neither strength nor helper! 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants), 12 Most surely it is a decisive word, 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
