▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 in Gardens they will question 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
