[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
