The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
