Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
