And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
