The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
