Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
