The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
