When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 Said [the servant]: "Wouldst thou believe it? When we betook ourselves to that rock for a rest, behold, I forgot about the fish - and none but Satan made me thus forget it - and it took its way into the sea! How strange!" 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He said, “You will never be able to patiently stay with me.” 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
