▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. 59 Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged. 60 ۞ If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing. 61 Should they seek to deceive you, Allah is sufficient for you. It is He who supported you with His victory and with believers, 62 and joined their hearts. Had you given away all the riches of the earth you could not have joined their hearts, but it is Allah Who joined their hearts. Indeed He is All-Mighty. All-Wise. 63 Prophet, God and the believers who follow you are sufficient support for you. 64
