(Muhammad), they will ask you about the mountains. Tell them, "My Lord will grind them to powder 105 and leave them so smoothly levelled 106 [so that] thou wilt see no curve thereon, and no ruggedness. 107 On that Day, they will follow the Summoner, who is not crooked, their voices hushed before the Merciful, and you shall hear nothing except a murmuring. 108 On that Day intercession shall not avail save of him whom the Most Compassionate Lord permits, and whose word of intercession is pleasing to Him. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they comprehend Him not in knowledge. 110 ۞ And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice. 111 And he who hath done some good works, being a believer, he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). 112 AND THUS have We bestowed from on high this [divine writ] as a discourse in the Arabic tongue, and have given therein many facets to all manner of warnings, so that men might remain conscious of Us, or that it give rise to a new awareness in them 113 So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge." 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
