Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 (Muhammad), say (to the disbeliever) "It does not matter to my Lord whether you worship Him or not. You have rejected His guidance and your punishment is inevitable." 77
