We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
