The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
