۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
