Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Truly, We have granted you a clear victory 1 That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His Favour on you, and guide you on the Straight Path; 2 and that God may help thee with mighty help. 3 It is He who from on high has bestowed inner peace upon the hearts of the believers, so that - seeing that God's are all the forces of the heavens and the earth, and that God is all-knowing, truly wise - they might grow yet more firm in their faith; 4 That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them;- and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man),- 5 And that He may punish the Munafiqun (hypocrites), men and women, and also the Mushrikun men and women, who think evil thoughts about Allah, for them is a disgraceful torment, and the Anger of Allah is upon them, and He has cursed them and prepared Hell for them, and worst indeed is that destination. 6 And to Allah only belong the armies of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Most Honourable, Wise. 7 We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad news, and a warner, 8 so that you believe in Allah and His Messenger and that you support him, revere him (Prophet Muhammad), and exalt Him (Allah), at the dawn and in the evening. 9 Those who swear allegiance to you swear allegiance to Allah. The Hand of Allah is above their hands. He who breaks his oath breaks it against his self, but for he that keeps his covenant made with Allah, Allah shall give him a mighty wage. 10
