Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
