۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 Nor the darkness and the light, 20 Nor the shade and the sun's heat. 21 nor are the living and the dead alike. Allah makes to hear whomsoever He wishes, but you, (O Prophet), cannot cause to hear those who are in their graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
