Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YA SIN. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a right way. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
