Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
