Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
