The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
