Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 The sending down of the Book in which there is no doubt that is from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 and yet, they [who are bent on denying the truth] assert, "[Muhammad] has invented it!" Nay, but it is the truth from thy Sustainer, enabling thee to warn [this] people to whom no warner has come before thee, so that they might follow the right path. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, and all what is between them, in six days, then (befitting His Majesty) established Himself over the Throne (of control); leaving Allah, there is neither a friend nor an intercessor for you; so do you not ponder? 4 He directs the affair from heaven to earth. Then it will ascend to Him in one day, a day whose value is a thousand years by your reckoning. 5 That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 6 It is He Who created everything in the best manner and began the creation of the human being from clay. 7 Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water (male and female sexual discharge). 8 then He gave it proper shape and blew His spirit in it. He made ears, eyes and hearts for you, but you give Him very little thanks. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: 'The Angel of Death, who has been given charge of you will gather you then to your Lord you shall be returned' 11
