And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
