The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
