Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And do not overlay the truth with falsehood, and do not knowingly suppress the truth; 42 And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Do you admonish others to do good and forget this yourselves? Yet you read the Book. Will you not then understand? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer. For it is heavy, except to the humble, 45 Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return. 46
