Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ THE CONCRETE REALITY. 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? 3 Thamood and Aad belied the Clatterer. 4 So regarding the Thamud, they were destroyed by a terrible scream. 5 and the Ad were destroyed by a furiously raging wind-storm 6 violent that He compelled against them seven nights and eight days, uninterruptedly, and thou mightest see the people laid prostrate in it as if they were the stumps of fallen down palm-trees. 7 So do you see any survivor among them? 8 And Firaun, and those before him, and the dwellings that were inverted and thrown, had brought error. 9 And they disobeyed the Apostle of their Lord, so He punished them with a vehement punishment. 10 Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship 11 that We might make it a reminder for you and for heeding ears to hold. 12 When the single blast is sounded on the trumpet, 13 And the earth and the mountains will be lifted up and crushed with a single crush. 14 So that is the day when the forthcoming event will occur. 15 And the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail. 16 and will turn frail, losing all force. The angels will be around the heavens and on that day eight of them will carry the Throne of your Lord above all the creatures. 17 On that Day you will be brought to judgement and none of your secrets will remain hidden. 18 Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, he shall say, 'Here, take and read my book! 19 Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning. 20 Then he shall be in a life well-pleasing 21 in an exalted garden 22 its clusters nigh to gather. 23 [And all who are thus blest will be told:] "Eat and drink with good cheer in return for all [the good deeds] that you have sent ahead in days gone by!" 24 But as for him who is given his book in his left hand, he shall say, 'Would that I had not been given my book 25 And not known my account! 26 Oh, would that this [death of mine] had been the end of me! 27 My wealth has not availed me. 28 and our belief has destroyed us". 29 It will be said, “Seize him, and shackle him.” 30 then throw them into hell to be heated up therein. 31 And string him to a chain seventy cubits long. 32 Indeed, he did not use to believe in Allah, the Most Great, 33 nor did he urge the feeding of the needy. 34 Today he has been left here friendless; 35 Nor food other than suppuration (filth) 36 "Which none do eat but those in sin." 37
