Al-Layl
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the night enshrouding 1 And the day resplendent 2 And Him Who hath created male and female, 3 Indeed, your efforts are diverse. 4 As for one who gives [to others] and fears [God], 5 and believes in the finest, 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. 8 and have no faith in receiving any reward (from God). 9 For him We shall ease the way of adversity, 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 and to Us belong the Last and the First. 13 I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, 14 None except the most wicked will enter it. 15 Who denies and turns away. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 Who giveth his wealth that he may grow (in goodness). 18 not as payment for any favours that he received, 19 acting only for the sake of his Lord the Most High -- 20 and such, indeed, shall in time be well-pleased. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
