And indeed We rescued the Descendants of Israel from a disgraceful torture. 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And We knowingly chose them, among all others of their time. 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 These people say, 34 "There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our ancestors back, if you are truthful." 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba' and those before them whom We destroyed? They were surely sinners. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We have created them for a genuine purpose, but most people do not know. 39 Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Save those on whom Allah will have mercy. Verily He! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
