The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
