And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing), 10 The people of Firon: Will they not guard (against evil)? 11 He answered: "O my Sustainer! Behold, I fear that they will give me the lie, 12 And my breast straiteneth, and my tongue moveth not quickly: so send for Harun. 13 And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening. 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'" 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 The Pharaoh asked, "Who is the Lord of the Universe?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned. 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 Thereupon [Moses] threw down his staff - and lo! it was a serpent, plainly visible; 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
