Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On the Straight Path. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
