When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not. 101 Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims." 102 And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language. 103 Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah – Allah does not guide them, and for them is a punishment, most painful. 104 Only they forge the lie who do not believe in Allah's communications, and these are the liars. 105 Except for those who were forced to engage in infidelity to Allah after believing the while their hearts remained firmly convinced of their belief, the ones whose hearts willingly embraced disbelief shall incur Allah's wrath and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them. 106 This is because they love this world's life more than the hereafter, and because Allah does not guide the unbelieving people. 107 These are the ones whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed; and they are the neglectful. 108 Truly it is they, they who in the life to come shall be the losers! 109 ۞ Surely, your Lord will be forgiving and merciful towards those who migrated after persecution and strove hard for the cause of God and remained steadfast. 110
