Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
