We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
