Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said, "Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children will only bring about destruction for them. 21 And they conspired an immense conspiracy. 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 And so they were drowned on account of their sins, and then cast into the Fire, and did not find any other than Allah, to come forth to their help. 25 Noah said: "O Lord, do not leave a single habitation of unbelievers on the earth. 26 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
